#1 What got me into this crazy business?
My husband has been a General Contractor since 2004 and since moving here to Arizona in 2014 he began buying and selling properties. I had left my previous career in the medical field so in 2015 we decided that instead of paying someone else to represent him I should just get my real estate license. Once I was in the industry I loved it and decided to do real estate full time. I now work with clients all through the valley as well as alongside my husband designing, staging, and buying / selling homes.
#2 My Passion:
I love, love, love working with people and helping them find happiness. My prior career was helping my patients heal from upper extremity injuries and regain full functionality which would in turn make them happy. Real estate and finding my clients the perfect home is just a different avenue to helping one find happiness.
#3 Mission statement:
My business is built on communication and trust. Give me your wish list and I will listen to your vision and bring it to life.
#4 My area of specialty is design and remodeling.
Being married to a General Contractor and involved in that aspect of the business allows me to offer my clients so much more. While previewing homes I have the ability to answer questions on the spot regarding rehab costs, design changes, and provide clients with follow up service a year or more after the sale. I have the industry contacts from a simple handyman to roofers and electricians or even new construction. Full concierge service is an understatement!
#5 Quotes I live my live by:
Life is short. Work hard but play harder. Everything happens for a reason. Live, laugh, love. I’m a what you see is what you get type of person. No talkie before coffee.
#6 Things about me:
I was named after my two great grandmothers Josephine and Alice. I was born and raised in a small South suburb of Chicago. I lost my brother to suicide when I was 15 and I am an advocate for Suicide Awareness. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. I am a certified Hand Therapist and owned my own Hand Therapy clinic for 6 years. I was able to build my clinic into a very successful business which was purchased by a National therapy company in 2014. That change in career allowed my family to follow our dreams and move to the Valley of the Sun. Those that know me well say I belong in flip flops 365 days a year. I have been married for 20 years and have a 10-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter. I’m a wife, a mother, a “real estater” (as my daughter calls me), an occasional Certified Hand Therapist, a home stager and interior designer. I love Orange Theory Fitness, Plunder Jewelry, country music and Golden Retrievers. My days are crazy busy and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
